TOKYO, Dec 24 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei record surrendered little gains and crawled down on Friday, as financial backer opinion was scratched by news about the main local area diseases of the Omicron Covid variation in Tokyo.
The Nikkei share normal (.N225) crept down 0.05% to close at 28,782.59, in the wake of ascending as much as 0.25%. The file posted a 0.83% week by week gain.
The more extensive Topix (.TOPX) slipped 0.13% to 1,986.78 and edged up 0.12% for the week.
"The Nikkei shifted its direction later the news on the local area transmission of Omicron in Tokyo. Financial backers sold offers that are identified with a monetary resuming," said Shoichi Arisawa, senior supervisor of the speculation research division at IwaiCosmo Securities.
